The new 2013 Lexus LS 600h F Sport coming soon/

The new 2013 Lexus LS 600h will be offered with the F SPORT package in Europe.
Here are some characteristics of a new car:
 - Both the LS 460 F SPORT & LS 600h F SPORT will be lowered by 10mm compared to the standard model, with Brembo front brakes and paddle shifters.
 - The RWD LS 460 F SPORT will be equipped with a Torsen limited slip differential, an Active Stabilizer System, and the paddle shifters will incorporate automatic throttle blipping on downshifts.
 - The new LS 460 F SPORT will also have an intake sound creator installed, which will feed engine sound into the cabin.

The purpose of the Torsen LSD is to distribute torque between the rear wheels — not exactly an important feature when the new Lexus LS 600h is only available in All Wheel Drive and weighs over 400 lbs. more than the LS 460.

2008 Lexus SC 430 prices and review

2008 Lexus SC 430 coupe
The distinctive 2008 Lexus SC 430 roadster is powered by a muscular V8 engine, even though sheer performance is not its strong suit. An optional Pebble Beach Edition trim and equipment package offers an additional level of luxury. Like several competitors, the SC 430 comes with a power-retractable hardtop.

2008 Lexus LF-A - Supercar Concept Revealed

The Lexus LF-A Roadster is based on the sturdy yet lightweight carbon-fiber and aluminum body used for the LF-A coupe, which helps maintain the structure's strength and rigidity even without a top.

Like its coupe counterpart, the LF-A Roadster is powered by a high-revving V10 engine that approaches 5.0 liters in displacement. The V10, capable of more than 500 horsepower and test-track speeds greater than 200 mph, is mounted in front of the passenger compartment but behind the front-axle centerline in what the LF-A's engineers refer to as a "front-mid" configuration.

The engine is connected via a torque tube and propeller shaft to a transaxle that is controlled by paddle shifters. The torque tube is a structural member that adds rigidity to the drivetrain and chassis while also reducing vibration.

Styling is rooted in the Lexus L-Finesse design philosophy, conferring the Lexus LF-A Roadster's front end with a compact, low-profile, aerodynamic shape. Like its coupe counterpart, the LF-A Roadster stands just 48 inches tall, but the Roadster configuration adds a speed adaptive rear wing.

Lexus bringing special-edition SC 430 to Pebble Beach

The well-heeled car-loving set is on its way to California's Monterey Peninsula for this weekend's annual Pebble Beach automotive extravaganza, where automakers have been showing up in ever-increasing numbers with various new or special-edition models in tow.
2008 Lexus SC 430
The fifth special-edition Lexus SC for Pebble, production will be limited 360 units, with the vehicle's official unveiling set for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Lexus Fashion Preview this Friday. Pricing has yet to be announced, but the automaker says sales will begin in late August.

The exterior/interior color combination will be exclusive to the Pebble Beach edition SC. Sprayed in a color called Smoky Granite Mica, the car also features special-edition brushed chrome badging on the front fenders, white illuminated scuff plates, a rear spoiler, and 18-inch six-spoke chrome wheels. Inside is a two-tone leather interior with bird's-eye maple wood trim accents and, you guessed it, more badges on the console and floormats.
2008 Lexus SC430 pic
The rear-drive Lexus SC 430 is powered by a 288-horse, DOHC, 4.3-liter V-8 mated to a six-speed transmission that moves the car from 0-to-60 in 5.8 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 149 mph, according to Lexus. Sure would be nice to see them do some mechanical dressup as well to the car at a future Pebble weekend.
